Job Description

Key Responsibility Area

• Overall responsibility for servicing clients on Data Analytics and managing the team
• Business Requirements Analysis, Project management, WBS, Effort Estimation, Scheduling, Resourcing and time management, Status reporting for both internal and external stakeholders
• Hands-on advanced knowledge of analytical techniques, SQL or other structured language, and Excel
• Works closely with the Client(s) on scorecards, advisory, and modeling
• Develop models and use analytics for refined data capturing and analysis
• Provide leadership to the analytics team, assist the leadership to deliver results, business goals, and commitments. Provide business requirements analysis support and clarifications to the team
• Work on processes to continuously update rules/procedures to optimize results & manage day-to-day activities with the team
• Support various special project assignments
• Assist in the enforcement of MIS & Data governance policies

Eligibility Criteria

• Agile Scrum Master/PMI-PMP/PRINCE 2 certification
• Prior experience as business analyst in a data warehouse implementation project
• Proven track record with database languages (e.g., SQL) and visualization tools (Tableau/SSRS/ PowerBI)
• Good to have Python experience and advance analytics concepts (AI/ML/GenAI)
• Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, MS Word
• Proficient in Project Management tool (MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, or equivalent)
• Good to have conceptual or working knowledge of Machine Learning & AI, cloud platforms (AWS)
• Experience managing a team of 15-20 Data Analysts
• Very strong self-learning capabilities to learn new technologies faster and guiding others
• Knowledge of complex and very complex Python and SQL codes, along with the proficiency to refactor them
• Experience of at least one end-to-end (greenfield) implementation of Data Warehousing project/program for a Bank/NBFC/Credit Union
• Banking domain experience
