Hi everyone, my name is Romaly Das, and I am from Bhubaneswar. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. After my college education, I joined Accenture as a Systems Engineer in a banking project. As I worked with Big Data, I had an inkling towards learning more about Data Analytics. I looked for online institutions for learning Data Science and fortunately came across AlmaBetter. I secured a pre-placement offer from Myntra as an Associate ( Analytics and Business Insights) within 29 weeks of the program commencement.

After my college graduation, I joined Accenture, where I was working on a Data Migration project where I was exposed to Big Data. I acquired technical skills by doing hands-on work like writing SQL, Unix shell scripts, and Python. That’s when I realized that I wanted to learn and understand what is done to the data after it has been processed and loaded into data lakes. That’s what drew me towards data science and AlmaBetter.
